Question about Computers & Internet
Where can I buy a compatible ac adapter and cord that will fit my LG Monitor
Have you been tried to find at the shopjimmy.com or at the amazon.com?. you can replaced it with other adapter even not LG, the only need to considered is the same voltage and amper rating as will as the size of the output jack and polarity of the adapter you will replaced. which will fit and same polarity to your monitor .

4:29:29 If locked in the down position, 1. Push the monitor down, 2. Press the Lock down / release button on the bottom rear of stand to unlock the monitor. 3. Lift the monitor up and extend the stand to the desired height.

Same problem started happening two days ago and ever since. I called LG and the product falls under a 3yr product warranty according to them (from my original purchase date of January 20, 2007). They will send packing slips to me so I can send the defective unit back to LG. I was told I am eligible for a replacement monitor - which will be shipped to me within 10 to 14 days (consecutive days, not business) - although I'm not sure what I'm being sent in return. My suspicion is that this monitor issue is a known issue by LG and they are quietly replacing the unit to those who follow through by calling CS.
Tips: Have your original purchase date on hand (in the form of a receipt) just in case they want proof of purchase.

Hi My screen developed exactly the same problem. It appears to be a hardwear problem associated with the screen it's self. continuity test is ok on the lead so I took it back to the shop under warranty and hey presto, the replacement works. I don't know what the problem is but there are a number of other folks on another thread with the same problem and their entries are dated May 09 too. Dave
