Get on the internet and download the VLC player. Just do a google search for it and it is free. Works great on MAC as well as PC for movie issues.

I have a Panasonic omnimovie Pv-610 and only one of my vhs tapes plays in fast forward mode, how can I fix?

If you mean just the one and the rest then it was probably recorded in Extended Play mode and nothing can be done.
Otherwise please explain your issues in more detail.

Canon PowerShot SD1100 IS Digital Camera I used this camera to take movies. When I play it back on the camera and after downloading to my computer, it plays as if it's set for fast forward and there's no...

Check your camera settings in movie mode for the correct settings for time lapse, normal, slow motion and fast motion. A slow recording memory card will not produce your problem but will take longer to save the file. If you shot the movie in PAL and played it on an NTSC TV, the picture would be in black and white with no sound and vice versa. ALWAYS format the memory card in the camera, never on a PC

Hi,
Smart Movie Player 3.41

Play your videos on your mobile device, anywhere, anytime, you need just a few steps:

* Convert any video file on your PC into a phone-friendly video file.
* Upload video into device/memory card.
* Play the video in SmartMovie Player installed on your mobile device.

Features:

* Standard AVI format, allowing you to preview converted files on your PC.
* Player uses the phone screen in portrait or landscape mode, utilizing full screen size of the device.
* Rescaling of video to utilize full-screen area.
* PC converter allows you to split video file into multiple segments, so that it fits onto your memory card, if not entire, then cut to more parts - you may watch your favorite video in parts, e.g. while traveling to work/school.
* Support for subtitles - allowing you to watch movies in different languages.
* Friendly PC converter - preview videos on PC, select parts you want to convert, alter quality.
* Supports DirectShow codecs, so you may use video codecs downloadable from the internet.
* Very fast conversion; on standard PC conversion is 5x faster than video clip playback time. You'll convert entire movie in just a few minutes
* Bicubic rescale algorithm shrinks video to small screen size in best possible quality.
* Adjustable quality parameters for video and audio streams, allowing tuning target video to your needs.
* Customizable video Player (brightness, language, volume, and more).

Sound and video playback do not match

No button or any control to rectifier this problem. Depend the movies quality when you fast forward the system control and audio video processing or it call out MPEG2 chipset they run like double speed sometimes it not fast enough then you end up with sound and video not SYNC however you can fix that by remove AC lead for 30sec then plug in back now it should work OK or when you fast forward use X8 or X16 NOT X32 times specialy with DVD copy
Alternatifly if your DVD player still under warranty it might have a update firmware to correct this problem

I have a canon SD 580. When I playback the video clip it's always in fast forward mode and I can't play it normal speed. Any help?

Make sure you are shooting your movies in "Standard" mode. If you have the mode set to something else, especially "Time Lapse", the playback may not match 'natural' motion.

In any case, you can control the speed of the playback. When you first enter the movie playback mode, there should be a movie control bar along the bottom of the LCD. Instead of the "Play" button, select the "Slow Motion Playback" button (single arrow with single bar next to the normal Play button), and control the speed with the left or right arrows on the multi-controller.
