Question about Garden
Battery Charger shows green light indicating batteries are fully charged. Volt-meter shows 13 to 14 Volts on each batttery. Mower does not run when handle is pulled with the safety key inserted. Need schematic to check for proper switch function.
Check the switch for current flow with and without the key. Then make sure the ground switch is disengaging when you pull the handle.Possible stretched cable.

Short blue cable goes between the negative and positive terminals on one side of the battery.
Thick white from cable that goes to the switch and thick wire that comes from negative terminal of motor go together with the small black wire from the hood - connect all 3 wires to the negative terminal on other side.
Thick green wire from cable that goes to the switch goes with the thin red wire from the hood - connect both wires to the remaining (unused) positive terminal.

Could be.Those batteries leak charge even when not in use.I would let it go for 24-48 hours just to be sure.Unless the batteries or charger becomes very hot.

Hi Tina, yes you can do as you asked and this will bypass the seat switch. No there is no need to disconnect the battery as the wires are not live unless the mower is running. Regards Phil.

I see this problem not as an electrical but a seize problem. Since I can't be there to inspect I am relying on your discription of the problem. I would go first to the place of the problem. If this solenoid goes up to disengage and down to engage ,or the opposite, this is most likely your problem area. It may be seized in the disengaged position therefore not allowing the blades to get spinning. Disconnect the belt and try to turn unit by hand, if tight or completely stuck use penetrating oil on pulley shaft. If shaft loosens up and blades engage this was the problem. Is there a grease fitting anywhere in the area?I hope this at least gets you started in the right direction. GOOD LUCK.
