I DONT THINK THE HARDWARE STORE WOULD HAVE IT. ITS A DOUBLE SWITCH WITH AN ANTI-TIPPING TRIGGER MERCURY I THINK} IN EACH SWITCH. ALSO IT HAS TO BE AN EXACT SIZE BECAUSE IT HAS TO FIT IN THE CUTOUT ALREADY PROVIDED. I WAS HOPING FOR INFO TO BE ABLE TO ORDER HONEYWELL SWITCHES DIRECT FROM A HONEYWELL DISTRIBUTOR.

Generally if you remove the switch and visit your local hardware store you can find what you need.

i am unable to find anything on parts. Unfortunately since these are distributed through retail stores there is no real dealer. They are primarily intended as disposable as they cost less than you could normally repair them for. Best bet i can think of would be an small appliance repair shop (vacuums, toasters, etc.) we have virtually none of them where i am hopefully you do. Sorry i couldn't be of more assistance. Good luck

Whenever the radiator is switched on it emits a shrill whistling noise - it still heats up but too loud to live with. Any ideas?

Sounds as if its low on oil. You probably have a crack in the radiator. My suggestion is to replace the unit with a new one.

I have a Honeywell Oil filled heater, HZ 680 series. When both switches are turned on, they light up but there is no heat. Also, a funny smell then the switches automatically turn off. Is there anything...

These heaters last about three years, and are throw aways, unless you have some in the ole shed like I do.Checking the switches is the first thing to do,remove them to see if they are burned up on the other side where the connection is.If they are, that could be the smell,or the thermostat is melted down, and smelling, again, throw away,,or save it,and buy a new one,and you will have parts for when it goes out,if the switches are melted down,a compatible switch,if found, can be replaced in the heater, but something made the switches melt down, most likely a heating element in the tanks, non replacable.

It is not heating as strong as it recently was and this morning I found a small leak of oil on the hardwood floor. Can it be repaired and is it ok to use?

If it is leaking ,when it gets low enough, the heating elements will burn up,it is best to trow it away, and buy a new one, getting parts for these are an act of congress and you can buy a new one for the cost of repairs, and the tanks can not be fixed,or filled.
