How do I connect a Pioneer S508 amplifier to a Samsung Bluray DVD player?

This is a common problem. Not all models of DVD players have analog audio connections.

The image of the back of the DVD is suppose to be a BD5700?

The connections AUX on the amp and the connections audio out red and white RCA connector are connected with a audio cable.
The images marked with the red are these locations
If your model of DVD player does not have a set of red/white audio connectors you have two other choices.
  1. If TV is connected via HDMI that the audio is included to the TV. The TV will likely have a set of red/white audio "out" RCA connectors that would connect into the Pioneer.
  2. Purchase a specific powered adapter that takes the Optical audio signal and converts to a analog RED/White RCA connector that will connect via audio cables into the AUX of the Pioneer,

How do I connect my pc to the smart share tv?

Hi Roxy
The first thing to do is determine what the TV input connectors are. Then what the computer output connector type is.
Write these down and then you can go into an electronics or cable supplier company and ask the staff.
Computers often use a Super VGA output connector that carries video only. The sound comes either out of an Audio out connector or fibber optic Toslink connector. Would be excellent if it had a HDMI connector caring audio & video. Check your computer manual.
The best input connector to use on a modern TV is HDMI. This is a single connector carrying video (1080) and audio. then you would simply connect one to the other.
There are several converter boxes available from xxxx to HDMI.
Good Luck

No audio on hdmi input

Are you using this HDMI input through an AV receiver, satellite or cable box, or directly into the TV? HDMI connectors are a well known issue for going bad mechanically(the jack itself) I have advised 100's of technicians throughout the USA, during my last employment at Pioneer. These connectors are very difficult to replace, as the pins on the connector are very small and close together.

For analog audio output use the L (White) and R (Red) RCA/Phono coax jacks to output to your Home Theater. Other option is to use the headphone jack wired to the home theater, however use of this will switch off any sound coming from the TV.

If the Home Theater supports digital inputs, use one of these connectors, Orange/Black RCA jacks, Toslink (Optical), HDMI. For nice pictures do a search for images in google/yahoo with the connector type.

So basically look for output connectors on the TV and match it with the same type of connector on you Home Theater input.

Hi I have connected my new Sony Laptop to my Hitachi TV (model PW2) via HDMI to input AV6 on the TV. Picture is perfect however I have no sound coming from my Bose Lifestyle 48 system. The sound on my Sony...

I don't think you can run AV6 and external sound could come from the TV as Audio Out through Cinch/Phono connectors. As you rightly say, the HDMI signal has audio on it, so the logical way should be to come from the TV through Audio Output connectors and to the Bose system as you cannot come from the Bose system to an already used AV6.
Hope that helps.

How to set my audio to hdmi while connecting my tv to my pc. my graphic card is Gforce 9600

I am pretty sure that the nVidia GeForce 9600 series of video cards use a DVI connector, not an HDMI connector.

While the HDMI connector has the ability to transfer digital and analog audio across it, the DVI cable does not.

You can connect a DVI video card to an HDMI display, and it is compatible for the VIDEO portion, but again, the DVI connector does not output audio at all.

You will need to connect the audio outputs of your audio card or motherboard to your TV by using a 3.5mm headphone jack to RCA jack adapter.
