Honda civic 2008 where is oil temperature sensor located?

There is no oil temp sensor that I know of, there is an oil pressure switch right above the oil filter. Let me know if that helps.

I have changed the oil in my Honda accord and the oil light flashes for a few minutes stays on and then goes back off.

check all of your sensor wires also make sure that it has enough oil and it may just be a bad sensor but first thing i would do is check to make it has enough oil

Honda 3000 eu no spark replace ing coil still no spark

Is there enough oil in the crankcase? Many generator ignition problems come from the oil level sensor. Either not enough oil or the sensor being bad.

Honda Trash Pump Model WT30X Stalling - 8hp engine runs for approx 5 seconds that shuts down, restarts after I hear a relay click ? oil is fine - so I do not believe that it is an oil pressure...

Their is an oil level sensor that lasts around 3 months of use. unplugging it would solve your problem But replacing it is a night mare. and if your oil runs out It's all over. if not the oil sensor, and your spark is constant Check your fuel system for water and debrie. Those pumps can run dry all day long.

91 Honda civic is leaking oil from a sensor located on the head is not the oil sensor the location of this sensor is on the left side of the head facing the fire wall

If the engine has an overhead cam it could be the cam position sensor. If the threads are leaking remove it wrap teflon tape on the threads and re-install it. If oil is leaking threw the sensor replace it.

Check engine light after every oil change 2005 Honda

This happens because the oil filter needs to be free of air. When the oil pressure sensor drops below a certain value it shuts off the injectors because the PCM. This is a good feature because if you run out of oil for any reason it should stop the engine before damage occurs.

Honda 5.5 hp air comp. no spark wont run

Most honda engines have an oil sensor that prevents the engine from starting if the oil level is low or oil is dirty. Test coil by disconnecting oil sensor wire. With sensor disconnected coil should fire. If still no fire, check kill wire for short. If still no spark, coil may need to be replaced. enjoy
