Question about Onkyo HT-S3500 5.1 Channel Home Theater Sound System
When I plug the UBT-1 Bluetooth Device into the receiver from my HT-S3500 system, the iphone pairs up with the device, but the receiver reads "No Storage", and it will not allow me to play my music through the receiver. As well, when I plug my iphone into the USB port directly, I sometimes receive a "No Storage" error, and I have to unplug and replug the iphone into the USB port until it recognizes the unit. I have also powered down the receiver by unplugging it altogether for 10 minutes, but the result is the same. Any help you could provide would be much needed.
I have same issue (from INDIA).I plug the UBT-1 Bluetooth Device into the receiver from my CR N755 system, the Phone pairs up with the device, but the receiver reads "No Storage", and it will not allow me to play my music through the receiver. i was working for 1 month and issue started from yesterday, Please post and solution email@example.com

I have the same problem as you with <no storage> using the UBT-1 on an Onkyo TX-NR616. Any device can connect to the UBT but the AVR does not seem to recognize the UBT-1 device.
Very annoying for such an expensive AVR.

there is a special memory chip who keps thre config. The older models has a battery who power memory offline, and that battery has 5 years life, and needs to be replaced. or new models has a eeprom who keeps data above 10years, normaly some chips has small defects who reveal after 4 or 8 years, normaly also needs to be replaced.

might be a dry joint on one of the solder joints on the relay/driver transistor that controls the speaker time delay, also it could be a faulty zener diode that controls/limits voltage to the relay coil, this can short circuit the relay and iturn the small snadby current present in its powersupply, get a service guy to look at it

Pairing is necessary when using the Bluetooth-enabled
device for the first time. Before starting the procedure, learn
how to enable the Bluetooth setting function and to connect
with other devices on the Bluetooth-enabled device.
1. Press BLUETOOTH on the remote controller.
The unit enters the pairing mode and the BLUETOOTH
indicator starts flashing.
2. While the BLUETOOTH indicator is flashing,
complete connection on the Bluetooth-enabled
device in the nearby area within about 2 minutes.
If the name of this unit is displayed on the Bluetoothenabled
device's display, select this unit. Paring will end
after a short time.
???? If a password is requested, enter "0000".
???? When connecting the unit to any other Bluetoothenabled
device, start pairing by pressing and holding
BLUETOOTH until the BLUETOOTH indicator starts
flashing. This unit can store the data of up to ten
paired devices, Thanks, JT
