Question about JVC LT-42X579 42 in. LCD TV
Was working absolutelly fine now its just stuck on standbt blue flashing light. no response
Its not making it out of standby, you could if can safely get it apart (ask if in doubt) inspect the power supply board for damage or puffed up filter caps, then consider having a shop look it over--All makers only sell circuit boards and no individual parts.

1. Hold [menu] and [vol-] button on the side of the TV
2. while holding these, press the [power] button on the side of TV (NOT remote)
3. blue light comes ON and stays ON
4. wait 10 seconds then let go of [menu] and [vol-]
5. wait another 30 seconds and some type of picture should appear
I think this is right. I got it from the JVC call centers guys so sorry if I missed or messed up a step.

SOURCE: i have a jvc lt-26a6asj
the most probably is broken one of neon lamps that illuminates led display .you can check that when you turn it on and flashes, see if one side of screen is brighter then other.
also,it can be that power supply in led display got weakened and haven`t got enough power, but that is job for service like any bigger failure.
this is not the only answer, there is always several solutions but you have to give more informations about malfunctions. good luck!

That could be a main board issue or a power supply issue. I would check the power supply for the stand by voltages and see if any are missing or low
