Use a anti-virus software. MS has Security Essentials and Housecall has online removal. Both are free.

You can even another computer to download ClamWinPortable, and run via USB if the virus is blocking internet on ACER. gl

How to remove iexplore.exe virus from windows 7

We first recommend you to update your anti-virus software and thoroughly scan your system (if you have not done this already) and follow the virus removal process guided by your anti-virus software.
If this does not resolve your issue, you can refer to the Microsoft Support page below to follow the standard virus removal procedure for Windows 7:
(Important: Make sure that you select "Windows 7" from the drop-down menu at the start of the page to refer to the correct procedure.)

Boot manager is missing HP pavilion dv6 notebook windows 7

This sounds like a common issue. The boot manager file "NTLDR" Can become corrupt or go missing due to a few situations.
1) Shut down improperly
2) Virus
3) Bad hard disk
4) Windows being windows.
Too fix this simply use a windows 7 cd and boot from it.
Choose the Repair option and let it do its thing. If i recall there's also a repair startup option you can use aswell.
Windows repair usually fixes the problem but if that doesnt work you can also put the hard disk into another computer and copy over replacement boot loader files.
""
  • ntldr, the main boot loader itself
  • NTDETECT.COM, required for booting an NT-based OS, detects basic hardware information needed for successful boot
  • ""
Try that. The windows repair usually works but if you have to use the alternative and it doesnt work it could be your MBR. Windows repair also fixes this but theres an old command you can run from the dos shell of the cdrom "mbrfix or fixmbr" That will take care of it.
    Good Luck :)

When i turn on my laptop it ask for a password in blue and then there is a blinking curser and black screen it wont do anything after that unless i press f2 reapeatedly or f12 but i cant fix nothing on the...

There are two types of password:
    1. BIOS password. To remove the BIOS password, the solution is, remove the BIOS battery. Location of the BIOS battery, the bottom of the laptop. So you have to unscrew the bottom of the laptop, find the BIOS battery and release approximately 7 seconds, then plug it back. Then, turn on the laptop, enter the BIOS by pressing F2, do the setting the date, time, etc.

    2. Password Log on. When turning on the laptop, and log on, then we are asked to enter a password, but we never give password to log on. However, when we enter the password, always fails, it means the virus-infected operating system (operating system has been controlled by a virus). These cases often I meet, the Windows XP operating system is infected with the virus. The solution is to reinstall the operating system. Repair operating system, or breaking into password virus, I've tried, but always failed. So, the best solution is to reinstall the operating system.

If you are using Windows 7, you can fix with, insert the Windows operating system CD, then boot from the CD Room. Solutions you can do:

    1.
Boot from CD Room, select Next - select Repair your computer - Next - select System Image Recovery

    2. Boot from CD Room - select Next - select Install now - check the "I accept the license terms" - Next - select Custom (advanced). Then, select the drive where you installed windows - Next. Wait for your operating system install process to complete. Then enter your user name, etc.

After entering the desktop, don't open drive C, D, E, F, because the drive is still infected with the virus. All you have to do is, connect your laptop to the Internet, download anti-virus. You can use free anti-virus (Avira or AVG), then anti-virus updates. After the update is complete, do a virus scan, drive C, D, E, F. If a virus is detected, Primary action = repair, Secondary action = delete.

After drive C, D, E, F clean from viruses, you can open the drive C, D, E, F. You don't have to worry about losing data, because Windows 7, will backup your data in a folder Windows.old. In Windows.old folder, there are three folders: Program files, Users, Windows. Data stored in My Documents, can be found in the Users folder.

When i am shut down my windows 7, the loading is very long it want to repair but i don't have a software in disc so i need your help, please

This may be because your hardware of your computer is not able to cope with the demands of Windows 7 especially when it come to laptops. Laptops use slower RPM hard drives and slower processors, so it is common to find that a laptop is slow. Keep your applications down to a minimum and keep your anti-virus software up to date. Run a virus scan, it is possible that you PC is slowing down because of a virus infection. Run the disk defragmentor program, this will ensure that all files are put together and your computer doesn't have to spend time to search for the files it needs. Run msconfig, navigate to the start up tab, you may find programs that you don't need at start up, for experienced users only. If you want to repair windows then I recommend sending it to a computer technician.

    All the best!

Just go to Start>programs and scroll up and Windows update should be there. Let me know about your Anti-virus and what SP you have installed. If this solves your install problem PLEASE rate this as fixed. I won't be done with you yet. I'll let you know what to do from now on. If it didn't solve your problem please DON'T RATE YET. Just add a comment letting me know the answers to my questions and we'll get you fixed up. Thanks.
