Suggest take that computer to the rep, and stick....................
OK...............can't state that in a public forum, but I'll bet you can guess.
WHOEVER sold this computer to you, needs to repair it, or give you another one...........FOR FREE.
Should NOT cost you one dime.
Not for shipping, not for tech's hourly wage, not because (Who?), Pryon is having a bad day........................
They want to fight it? That is.........
1) It isn't covered under warranty, and you didn't purchase our million dollar warranty plan.
(Yes. That was an exaggeration)
2) The computer was working fine when it left here.
To have it worked on now will cost $$$$$
3) jennifer1111 WHO?
Sorry, we show no receipt of purchase.
I'm going -> out there, of course; but you get the gist of what I am stating.http://www.pryon.com.au/solution/Solution_viewCategory.action?id=220
This 'entity', Pryon;
1) You're telling me some boo-bs at Pryon, who claim to be 'techs', tried two monitors on the computer you bought, and they didn't work on that computer you bought.
So what was the story then?
"Well shucks Ma'am, guess the monitors don't work.
What? They work on another KNOWN to be working computer?
Huh! Well, I gotta' go..................."
How is it a 'tech', or a company that sells computers, tried two monitors on the computer you JUST purchased; and you are still stuck with a non-working computer?
Makes me feel like swimming across the 'pond', and asking them.
Suggest you quit fooling around with these no-obs.
Here in the 'States' we can contact the State Attorney Generals Office, of our state. Then the Consumer Division.
File a Complaint.
If it has been found in your favor, (Which it would be), the entity that made the computer MUST repair it, or MUST replace it.
Can be up to a $10,000 fine a day for failure to comply.
Yes. That kind of lights a fire under their collective behinds.
I have conversed with people on here, who are in the UK, and Australia; and claim there is such an entity there, also.
Different name of course, but same sort of entity.
Plus I do not wish to incur your wrath, with possibly stating something wrong; but it seems those of us who are the female gender, (jennifer1111 suggests this) get taken advantage of in some situations.
For some reason a small part of the populace, feels because that person may be of the female gender; they can put one over on them.
I would give them one last chance, with a date set in mind; that the problem should be resolved.
Then upon that matter not being resolved in the manner you wish, I would file a Complaint.
Just my 2 cents.
Post back in a Comment.
[I'm a 6 foot biker, and 'Nam vet. I occasionally help out as an instructor, teaching self-defense courses to females.
So yes,....it strikes pretty close to home, if I feel a person of the female gender is being wronged ]
