Did you ever get one? I have the same problem; I removed the door and dismantled near the catch. Then I put a loop of strong string round the hook. This works fine as I simply pull on the loop whilst pushing the door in slightly to take pressure off the hook end. The weak handle is a design flaw. If you find a source for a new catch please let me know. C
