Lost Windows password:

  • Login as Administrator. Try with no password (load safe mode if you don't see Administrator). Press F8 during boot to access Safe Mode. XP only.
  • Login as other user (if other user is available) and manage users. Must be an administrator.
  • Reformat computer.
  • Use 3rd party software to remove password. Like http://www.top-password.com/reset-windows-password.html
  • Free software option would be Hirens Boot CD. This one is command prompt only. http://www.hirensbootcd.org/ Must follow instructions exactly.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: I have a cracked window and would like to know how

You can go here to check out repair solutions for your laptop: Toshiba Repair Center
You can also call their support center at: 1-800-457-7777
most likely you are going to have to ship it to them and they will have to replace the monitor for you (at a price). I don't think they will just sell you a replacement screen.

I have a toshiba satellie pro (A105), I forgot my password, now I want to restore to factory settings (im order not to loose the genuinity of my windows)..... I dont have any recovery CD, what do I do?

Hi,

If you have Windows XP press CTRL+ALT+DEL at the login screen.
A new login screen will appear. Login using Username: Administrator and Password: password
This will log you into the Admin account.
You can then go to the user account in the control panel and reset the password for your user account.

Hope this helps!

Toshiba a105 s2194 won't turn on.

Please try to remove the battery and just connect the power adapter to turn it on. You shoudl get the screen to work. After which, power off and then connect the battery back.

If this does not work, it maybe a hardware proble with the screen or the inverter

BOUGHT A USED A105-S2194 DONT HAVE PASSWORD

Hello dogg14,

Here is a link to a program that will do the trick for you

http://ophcrack.sourceforge.net/download.php?type=livecd

load the iso file to a PC, burn the cd (make a copy from the iso image) put the cd into the CD-ROM drive and boot from the CD it will run ophcrack which will use a decryption algorithm to find the password of the system in question.

I hope this helps,

Thank you,

Will not power on. Has power LED lit.

It's a component, you'll have to take it apart again, and go one by one. It could also be a component connector, be sure to check all connectors for bad wires or corrosion.

No sound

I'm sure that's the common problem with UAA HDAudio on Slipstream XP.
Try to install patch KB888111 by microsoft.
(microsoft don't provide the download.)
Try to googling. If you'd like I could send you by email.
