Single copy out of double original w/o using paper feeder
Bizhub di2510, I can not figure out how to make single copy out of double sided original without using paperfeeder. I work at a physicians office and we make copies of insurance card front and back. It would be great is it would all be on one page.

Re: single copy out of double original w/o using paper...
Does your machine have double siding capabilities?
If so on the control panel under original / copy. select 1:2, this will give you a double sided copy from a pair of single originals even off the glass.

Yes - surprisingly - we had the same problem, the gray stripe along the side of the page only showed up when the original was fed through the document feeder on top. Cleaned the small area of glass under the feeder repeatedly with no change to the resulting stripe, but then while cleaning the upper roller, above the area of glass where the scan lamp illuminates during the copying from the ADF, we found a small piece of paper adhering to the top roller in the paper path, cleaned it off, and no more band. We didn't see the bit of paper on the upper roller until we rolled it while cleaning. Still can't figure how that made a stripe....but hope this helps you.
I am going to assume you have a document feeder (ADF) on the copier.
Insert originals into document feeder and press the 1-1 simplex button on the LCD screen. If have single page documents that you want to turn into double sided documents then select 1 - 2 button. If you have double sided originals already and want to make double sided copies then select 2 - 2 button. Then hit the green copy start key...done.
You load the originals print side uo on the document feeder tray or print side down on the glass.
To send a single page fax you can either load the original on document feeder tray or on the glass; to send a multi-page fax you must use the document feeder tray.
first thsing to check is the side guides for the paper make sure they are set against the paper being fed through if not the paper will be pulled through at an angle and this can cause your problem you can alson get a slightly heavier paper and put that through to see if you have a jam..did you remove all the packing tags and paper protectors
In the middle of the main screen (in copy mode) there is a big button called "simplex 1 to 1" or it may say "duplex". on the next screen you'll see different ways to do duplex copies. if you have a double sided original then select 2 to 2 / if you have 2 single side originals then select 1 to 2. Place originals in the document feeder and press start
dear friend:1-check the paper and use fresh paper out of wet and stored in dry place.2-use cooling oil and replce oil cartidge in the heater section.3-replace silicone roller (the lower roller in the heater}4-check for smoth movement of exit section(gears-chain-rubber belt}in a good condition replace any defective part.
