Question about Dell M209X Ultra Mobile Projector Projector
My Dell Projector Colour Wheel Shattered when a power cut occured so after a bit of surfing i found a replacement wheel from Coretronics, Carfully installed the wheel and power up the projector to find the colours are all wrong image is pin sharp but the green/blue colour seem to mix themselves up?? again surfed around to find i may have to reset the colour wheel using the service menu (up,left, left) or something like that on the remote but cannot get to the menu? help! is there a jumper i need to reset or anything anyone could suggest to get the colours back to normal. Regards Ryan
Could be just 180degrees out of phase on the motor spindle and sensor or damage caused by broken material from the old wheel.

SOURCE: I have a second- hand
the lamp is not at problem, but the dlp engine is at fault, u may have to replace it.since u bought it 2nd hand,it is not worth changing the same as it will cost u more than ur buying price.when u plan to buy ur next projector, make sure u buy a new one as it will come with a fresh lamp & manufaturers warranty on the unit & at 4000 / 5000 hours of projector usage is guaranteed!

there is a sensor on the wheel which sets the timing of the wheel to match the dmd. make sure you got the right colorwheel. or you might have to send it in to dell.
