Is the A6064A00AP the same as A606YM300XN? I know there can be a world of difference between part numbers.

No, they are not the same, but there are common genral principles.

  • William Donavan Dec 18, 2012

But is it the same input voltage? The schematic shows 120 volts, and I'm looking for 240.

See the safety file here first.

Normally it's best to look up the microwave oven's service manual by model number and go from there, but since you didn't list that, this should help.

I have several publications including manuals and bulletins in my files covering Panasonic inverters. They are here:

Hi I have a Panasonic NN SN 797S. works perfectly for say 20 mins and then blows a fuse. Replace the fuse and it may work for 2 days or 10 mins and then a fuse blows again. I was told the noise filter

Is the internal cooling fan working when you cook?

If not, the magnetron will overheat, and the unit will draw excessive current.

Otherwise, I would suspect the inverter.

Due to the complexity and lethal voltages used and produced in inverters, I do not recommend that an inexperienced person work on repairing an inverter.

My panaonic microwave stops after 5 seconds and H98 appears in the display window.

H95, H97, H98 or H99 mean that there's a problem with your inverter, magnetron, or digital programming circuit.

It may be a loose connection in the wiring between the inverter, magnetron, and/or control board, or maybe one of those components has failed.

Due to the lethal voltages used and produced in inverters, I do not recommend that an inexperienced person work on these.

Panasonic Microwave Oven starts for 5 seconds then shuts off

If it stops after exactly 7 seconds, it has a problem with the inverter.

If the digital programmer circuit / controller does not get a feedback signal from the inverter for a period of 3 seconds, the controller will stop the cook cycle.

1200 watt panasonic genius shuts down

If it stops after 7 seconds, it has a problem with the inverter.

If it stops at 16 seconds and is a sensor model, it probably has a defective humidity sensor.

If it stops after 22 seconds, that means the controller has detected a problem, usually a problem with the inverter, controller, magnetron, or a bad connection from one or the other.

My panasonic inverter microwave model no NN-T523M switchs off after 5 secondsno matter what setting. the digital screen says consult manual, which has been misplaced

You can find Panasonic owner's manuals here.

The first thing I would suggest is a hard reset. Unplug the unit for a minute or so. Then plug it back in, set the clock and try again.

If that doesn't work, leave it unplugged for about 5 minutes.

See if this describes what's happening:
  • Put in time, push start and unit runs for 2 seconds, relay clicks, unit goes off. Cook time on display goes off and clock time comes back. Bad upper interlock switch and charred connector
If so, see http://207.234.249.73/mwd/safety.txt http://207.234.249.73/mwd/disassembly.txt http://207.234.249.73/mwd/doorsw.txt

NNC2000P - Microwave does not work but convection works

An IGBT is an insulated gate bipolar transistor - sort of a hybird between a bipolar transistor and a MOSFET.

These are the final output driver transistors in the high-voltage inverter.

If it stops after 7 seconds, it still has a problem with the inverter.

It's likely a bad transistor, an electrolytic capacitor with an internal short or bad ESR or altered value, bad connection on the inverter board, a shorted diode or blown resistor, or a bad connection in the wiring.

Reputable service centers will have a repair warranty, but it may only be 30-90 days.

Due to the lethal voltages used and produced in inverters, I do not recommend that an inexperienced person work on these.

You should use a Panasonic-authorized service center so they'll have the service manual and (hopefully) experience and training to repair inverters.

In the US, you can find an authorized Panasonic servicer here.

This sounds like a non-US model. If so, visit panasonic.net, find your home country, then find the service / support links.

Panasonic nn-sn667b 1300w dead

You might consider just replacing the inverter assembly itself.

It will cost more than replacing the bad discrete components of course, but you would be avoiding the time and money involved in parts research, trial and error, and possible destruction of any newly installed parts if there remain other undiscovered defective components.

The inverter assembly (part # F606Y8M00AP) can be had for $79.12 here.

Otherwise, you would need to order the service manual, which is not listed by the major Panasonic distributors.

The service manual should be # SM-NNSN667.

The best place to order Sharp parts is Tritronics. Or you can call them toll-free at 866-779-5835.

In this case, call might be more productive to track down the service manual.

Good luck, and be safe.
