Hello,

I found the driver for this one last year. I actually created an article regarding the driver where you can find the link to it. You can download it to your computer.

Please go here: http://www.fixya.com/support/r8746311-solution_acer_crystal_eye_web_cam

I hope this helps

SOURCE: Acer Aspire one "The Acer Crystal Eye webcam has not found!"

Go to Device Manager and open up Universal Serial Bus controllers and you should see USB Unknown Device. Right click on the USB Unknown Device and click on Uninstall. Shut down the Aspire One PC. Unplug the power adapter to the PC. Remove the battery at the back of the PC. Wait 1 minute.

Put back the battery. Plug the power adapter. Turn ON the Acer Aspire One pc. It should automatically detect the Acer Webcam and it will be listed in the Imaging Devices at the Device Manager. :) yay

Uninstall, then reinstall with latest drivers this will be where to start, is web cam attached permanantly? if not try it on another pc if it is try a usb web cam with your laptop. In other words try to do some trouble shooting to narrow down where we need to focus our attention to get you going again
