As you will probably now ylod is general hardware failure.
Surely a local tech can fix this for $150 or so, that is often a faulty HD, or a faulty MB, but that won't be a good decision.
When you get Ylod you simply call Sony , pass through all their troubleshooting, then you get very upset and tell em that the licht came on his own , that this is a factory defect, and that you did not do anything wrong on your PS.
They will send you a free replacement.
