Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

SOURCE: Canon Imageclass MF 6550 - Can't print labels... help!

We have found a solution. The multipurpose tray can only be set for one type of paper at a time, either labels, paper, or envelopes. If you go to print an envelope, it must be set to envelope (obviously). For labels, change the paper type to labels. I'll put a quick list of buttons to push...each slash meaning "press ok"...Press Additional functions/ #1 Common Settings/#10 MP tray/press ok/press ok/#1 Paper size/OK/Com10 (for envelopes) or LTR for a sheet of labels/if LTR is selected, choose option #2 for paper type and click labels. That should fix your problem! Then of course switch it back to envelopes if you need to. A pain, but doable. Another option is loading your labels into the main paper tray, but that's dangerous and tends to cause paper jams (according to Canon, though I haven't had any stick yet). Enjoy your printer (and your $150 cartridges). Any questions, email me

SOURCE: Canon MP810-CD-R Tray loading-printing problem

I read on another site that you must wait until prompted on the screen to put the tray into position. Opening the inner door and loading the tray before asked to and then pressing OK was the key to fixing the problem on the MP830.
It's the simple things that always get you into trouble, I guess.

SOURCE: Error Code 6A80 on the Canon MX700

Supply Guy,
Here is the solution.
I am going to describe 4 buttons on your printer. Then, I will tell you what to do with these buttons to resolve this error.
1. Look for the Black & White selection button (large white button w/ black diamond on it).
2. Look for small pink button (bottom left corner of your printer control panel).
3. Look for the OK button (big button in middle).
4. Look for the On/Off button (top left).

OK - here we go. With the printer turned off, do this:
1. Using four fingers, one on each of the four buttons, press them all and hold them down for 10 seconds.
2. Release the On/Off button - but keep holding the other 3.
3. After a few more seconds the printer will turn on. When it does this, you can release the other three buttons.

So, to summarize, you press all 4 buttons for 10 seconds, release the power button and wait for the printer to turn on. After it is on, let go the other 3.

Your error message should go away. If you don't hold the buttons all down simultaneously, the printer could go into Fax mode; just turn it off and try again.

What settings does my printer have to be on to print avery 5292 label

In Microsoft Word, click Tools, Letters and Mailings and select the label from Options. It is done from the authoring software not the printer. All the Settings are self explanatory, set the page size to Letter.

How do I print just one mailing label without running through an entire sheet time I print using an Epson LQ-590 and printing from the mail merge option in MS Word (MS XP)? In other words, when I print...

I assume you are using a sheet of labels, such as the typical 3 x 10 sheet. Word sets up the mail-merge document for printing the whole sheet, so if you print just one or two labels, you will `waste' the rest.
One way of using that sheet over is to create a mail merge that contains blank `dummy' addresses. It is rather involved and at best time consuming, and considered not worthwhile to save a partial sheet.
I service printers, and personally do not recommend that any label sheet be re-used. The printer curls the paper, in some cases fuses it, and causes the corners of the labels to be exposed, and possibly get caught in the printer (I have removed a lot of labels from inside printers)

Printing labels setup on the PXMA MX860

You don't need to do anything to set the printer up except to tell it you have heavier stock than normal.

Your answer lies in the program you are using to print labels. Please tell me which program you are using and what other office type programs you have on the computer and I will try to give you a viable solution.

DVd label

All document printers with disc printing capabilities suffer from disc feed problems. It is an inherent design flaw that results from the machines original design to print documents. Loading discs to be printed must first "go around" the printer's paper feeding mechanism to accept discs. I got tired of using document printers to print labels on discs. I switched to a DiscPainter made by Dymo. It is a dedicated disc printer that was designed as such from the outset and not as an afterthought. It prints every bit as well as any document/disc printer but without the frustrating mis feeds. Although the Canon printer is great for documents its design limitations for disc printing are not easily overcome.
