Hello. It sounds like either...
1. Your power adapter is damaged/not working. Look and see if a LED is illuminating on the power adapter. If it is chances are it is working fine and the problem may lie on your laptop. If not replace it. The easiest way to tell if your power adapter is bad is to go out to Wal-Mart or your local technology store and purchase one of their universal power adapters. They are expensive but you can buy it, try it, and return it if it does not solve the problem.
2. The DC pin on your laptop is bent/broken/loose. Look at where your power adapter plugs in on your laptop. Get a paper clip, bend it out to make a long paper clip and slightly push its tip on the pin inside your laptop. If the pin moves chances are either the DC pin needs to be soldered down or needs to be replaced. The part is usually cheap around $10 but the labor can cost more than $50

This is what the industry calls "infant mortality." There is probably a defective part in the power management circuitry and it failed. (A failed memory module might do the same thing, although the squeak is more suggestive of a power converter giving up the ghost.) That's why we have warranties; sometimes a bad part gets past quality control. Remove the hard drive and send the computer to a warranty service center.

SOURCE: it will not start.
There are several things that you should check: 1. Remove the ram and start the laptop: check if you hearany beeps. If thereis no beep sound, then it either the processor or the motherboard are bad. 2. In this situation check the AC adapter. You can test theoutput voltage with a voltmeter. If you cannot do that, find a known good ACadapter and use it for testing the laptop. It is possible the laptop appears tobe dead because the AC adapter is bad (and the battery is discharged). If youknow that the AC adapter is working properly and it outputs correct voltage butthe laptop is still dead, most likely you have a power issue on the motherboard(or power board on some laptops) and it has to be replaced. 3. Remove the memory module and install it in another slot. Hope this will help you. Good Luck.

Take it to a service shop asp, key board will need to be replaced, and the laptop will need to be assessed for motherboard damage.
