Sansa e250 getting worse since "upgrade"

I plugged in my sansa into my friends computer with Rhapsody, so it automatically "upgraded". I only thought the upgrade would help my mp3 player so I let it load. Ever since I unplugged it, it takes a couple more seconds to pick and play a song and it's just a lot slower to do things. I just recently charged my mp3 player, and when I listened to it, about a hundred of my songs were deleted. I noticed that most of the deleted songs were the ones I had been listening to a lot recently. Did the Rhapsody upgrade mess up my sansa?
