Question about Electrolux EIFLS55IIW 27" Front-Load Washer with 4.07 cu. ft. Capacity 11 W
Posted by Anonymous on
Hello - From what you have described the washer may possibly have a communication problem with the control board, defective cord/wiring, and faulty door lock assembly. Try resetting the unit by either unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. Wait approximately ten minutes and turn on the washer and select a normal cycle. If the washer continues with the same issue then I would suggest contacting a professional to accurately diagnose the unit.

Make sure you drain the machine first by setting a spin cycle manually and see if it releases the door after a few minutes. If that fails then switch off the machine and leave for 5 mins, door should release but you could end up with water on the floor. After this clean your filter and check you water pump, then try a short cycle without clothes.

Hey friend, thanks for your post!
From the information you have provided your Electrolux washer is not starting. This could be a possible issue with your control panel or door latch. If your door is not communicating that it is closed then the washer will not start. Is your washer displaying any information or error codes? If you can provide any additional information I will be able to assist you further. -Matt

Good Morning friend, thanks for your inquiry!
Based off the information you have provided your Electrolux frontload washer the door will not open and the timer is stuck. I would recommend performing a reset on your washer and you can do that by unplugging the power cord or flipping the household circuit off for ten minutes. If that does not help to resolve your issue I would suggest consulting with a professional technician for an accurate diagnosis. It could be a potential problem with your control panel or door latch assembly. I hope this information is helpful. -Matt
