This is a portable paddle type snow blower. I got new rubber blades today to repace the old. If they don't work, I will leave the question out there. One reply I received was to replace them. Thank you for asking.

The problem was fixed by replacing the old, shorter rubber paddles. If the longer paddles hit the scrape bar, I'd suggest removing some material from the bar & paddle. Thx

SOURCE: snow thrower won't throw snow

the problem could be the snow is to heavy for the motor to keep up, if thats the case you may need to upgrade to a more powerful model or try not to overload it. take it a little slower so the motor can keep up. but try tightening the belt. with your pointer finger push down on the belt it should have about a half inch give, if it moves more than that its too loose and probably slipping under load

Motor runs paddle does not move

Your drive belt is probably broken or has slipped off. unplug your machine and turn it on its side (remove the pan and paddle first) and remove the bottom panel with a screwdriver. You will then be able to see if the belt is broken or has slipped off. You can reach me at for reinstall or replacement of your belt.

Hi there! I've been using my toastmaster model 1142 bread maker a lot lately like almost every day and it has stopped mixing the dough. Once the dough is dense the motor sounds like its running but the...

Pull the pan out and turn the little paddle with your finger. Is the paddle slipping on the spindle? If yes, then your paddle is worn out. If you move the paddle around and it doesn't slip on the spindle then look to see if the ears on the bottom of the pan are turning too when you move the paddle. If yes, then your problem is further down in the machine. You may have a slipping belt. Those are some of the things you can check.

Need a belt. do not have a parts list. does it take a belt? stopped turning but motor is running.

Hi. They sell the belts at Amazon for about $10.00. First you should make sure the paddle is not stuck. Take the bread pan out and see if you can turn the paddle by hand. Keep pan out of machine and start a kneading cycle. If motor shaft does not spin then it's probably the belt. Motor and belt is located in base of machine. Make sure you unplug the machine before checking out the belt. Hank

The machine gets warm but the paddle doesn't turn.

Hi, The paddle should turn freely by hand with the bread pan out of the machine. Make sure the pan is inserted in the machine correctly. If the motor shaft turns but the paddle doesn't then the sealed bearing that the paddle rotates on has failed and is frozen so the paddle does not turn.. You may need a new bread pan. Hank

My breadmaker have two paddles, one seem like it doesnt have the power to turn porbable.what is wrong,i want to fit it myself.

Hi, This could be caused by 3 reasons. 1) The bearing on the paddle shaft is ready to fail and the paddle is sticking. Take the pan out of the machine and see if you can turn the paddle freely by hand. 2) The belt is slipping. Tighten up the belt in the machine. Belts and pulleys are in the base of the machine. Remember to unplug machine when you work on it. 3) Make sure the pan is seated properly in the machine. Good luck Hank

Drive shaft no longer turns kneading blade on model k6725

Either the paddle is frozen in the bread pan ( take pan & paddle out of machine and see if you can turn it by hand), or the belt has fallen off or has snapped. (Keep the bread pan out of the machine & run a knead cycle, look through the lid window and see if the motor shaft spins. Hank

Bread Machine not kneading
This site has bands/belts for breadmakers. I am buying my new paddle for the tr900s breadman pro from there. Perhaps your belt is broken? I personally have never replaced one, but it should not be too hard. Make sure you unplug the breadmaker before opening it up at all.

Try running the breadmaker with no pan in it and see if the paddle shaft turns at all during the cycle. Also, the paddle will not turn at all in the first 30 minutes of certain cycles, like the whole wheat. This is stated on the time chart of the instruction manual for this model.

Hope this helps!

Paddle won't come out

I've had pretty good results with a crochet hook (use a metal one that can be run through your dishwasher). Insert the hook through the hole in the paddle and it should catch on the far side just enough to pull the paddle out of the loaf. Best to do it before it cools and the crust hardens, though.
