Question about HP DeskJet F380 All-In-One Printer

1 Answer

Wont work F380 All In One

When I turn it on, the ink light turns on although I just replaced ink lately and it worked for a while. The E light comes on and the ink holders go back and forth inside the printer. When I open the front cover they just keep going back and forth instead of stopping in the middle so I can check ink. Then it turns off and back on by itself. Im not really sure whats happening because its been working and then randomly one day I turned it on and it went crazy!

First you should replace the both cartridges and take a cotton cloth then clean the outer surface of the cartridges then also clean the inside path of cartridge holder or carriege. Remember a very light scratch on the cartridge circute,it will never work.

Ink cartridge light of mt HP Deskjet F380 All-in-One is blinking and an E appears, have tried replacing cartridges and everything, but no result whatsoever.

Hi

Please try this solution

Remove the USB cable into the printer and leave the printer on.
Remove all the cartridges.
Close the cartridge door and wait for the INSERT INK MESSAGE to appear.
Disconnect the power cable and from the power source supply.
Move the carriage using your hand from the original position to the other side of the printer and then move it back to original position. Wait for couple of minutes
Reconnect power cord and turn on the printer.
Return all the ink cartridges and close the door. Wait for the calibration process.
Print the test page to check if it working.
Reconnect the USB cable and try to print again.
Post comment if you need more help. Regards

if ink/cartridge indicator is blinking, you need to replace the cartridge. if no blinking lights it could the printer mainboard is out of order due to ink spilled

Not printing black anymore

The link level display doesn't always show the correct information. To begin, try to wet the part where the ink flows, with a damp paper towel or just a towel. Sometimes the ink just dry up. If that does not work, you probably need another black ink. If there was a problem with the printer itself you would had been notify by the computer, you know, like a pop up window.
