I have been trying to connect my LG-P970 to the internet but no use because I need to enter proxy data and I can't find anything called proxy in the options

Hi,

Follow the below steps, you do'nt need to install any PC suite, driver nothing.
1.Connect your phone via data cable. Do NOT turn mass storage.
2.Go to Settings->Wireless & Networks->Mobile Networks->Enable Data enabled checkbox
3.Then Settings->Wireless & Networks->Tethering & portable hotspot->Enable USB tethering
Now you can browse without giving proxy or anything. It just works like a wired connection.

Thanks,
Mr.Maduraikaran.

My friends list has disappeared on all games, I've tried changing the comment but no luck. Can I get my friends list back without losing any data?

wjbanfield

Alot of times if the friends list is disappearing this means that you are losing your network connection causing you to disconnect from the PSN. Once you are disconnected from the PSN your friends list will go away.

Also let me know if you are connected via a wired or wireless connection on your network.

Can 3 computers (1 desktop and 2 laptops) share the same IP address?

No. Each device connected to a network must have a unique address so that data can be properly routed. If you want to share an Internet connection among several computers, you need a router. The router provides a single IP address connection to your service provider on one side. Then each computer connected to the router, wired or wireless, gets its own internal IP address from the router. As data comes over the Internet, the router takes care of getting it to the proper computer.

How to change a nat key on a bufallo wireless router to leave it open so i can play my friends on fifa on ps3

Do you mean the network key? the NAT is just to "convert" the external IP to internal IPs. Meaning, you have on External or Public IP, through NAT makes the several internally assigned IPs (192.168....) go out to the internet as your External or Public IP.
You can't change that. What you can do is go to the wireless settings on the buffalo router and under wireless security setup (11g) click on NO encryption and you will have an open connection, but PLEASE keep in mind you are going to share your connection with EVERYBODY not just your friends.
A better solutions is give your friends the wireless key you have written under the Wireless Security Settings, so you are sure you are only sharing your connection with the people you trust.
I hope this helps.

I have been confused about my internet connection lately. My ISP is Qwest DSL and I have friends that have the exact same connection as I do. Now when I'm trying to play an online game using a wired...

when you are playing with a friend and they are hosting it, it can be their connection that is causing the lag, the same goes if you host and they experience lag, the wireless and wired connection will be the same internet speed, but with wireless the data is transfered at 54MBPS over from the router to your xbox, but wired transfers at 100MBPS, the internet speed is always the same with both.

There are other factors which can cause lagging, one of which depends on the amount of people surfing using your ISP at the same time and sharing your line bandwith.

Linksys wireless-g

ok, you seem to be going around it the wrong way round, if you are trying to connect to your friends network you would not connect to his pc you would connect to his router, so you cannot use your router to connect to his. assuming you have a wireless network adapter, which you must have, you simply connect to your friends router via your pc and not your router, you cannot have one router connecting to another, only signal boosters. when your'e network adapter detects a network, select your'e friends and then enter the passkey when prompted, so turn off your router,as it can only be used for your own network, as it musn't be connected to your modem, or else you wouldnt need to connect to your friends. If you want to connect to your friends pc for file sharing make sure he has is sharing set up and you both have the same workgroup name e.g. mshome
