I have a Kodak Easy Share DX 4530 and I need to use a PNY Premium 2GB SD card. However when I attempt to use it I get a "needs formatting" message. When I attempt to do that by camera it repeats the

Your camera only can work with SD cards. Before the SDHC cards there were even 4Gbyte SD cards around on matter if the device could use all 4 or only 2.
Now even the 1 Gb cards are SDHC.
Your camera is not compatible with those.
The links down here, are to the manual and on page 93 you can see they only speak of SD and MMC cards.
The second link is for support. I can't guarantee you can find new firmware for your camera, but if they have, it could be possible the new firmware makes it possible to use SDHC cards. Don't hope too much and when you want to upgrade, read everything careful because one mistake could make the camera worthless.
So check for SD cards. NO SDHC cards please.

Cant read any sd card

If you have an old Kodak camera, (produced before 20070 where you used to have a memory card with less then 1 Gbyte, it could be you now try to use a SDHC card and your camera can't handle that.
The first 2 and 4 Gbyte SD cards were also SD, but now no firm is producing any SD memory card above 1 Gbyte. Even the 2 Gb now are only SDHC.

Can I use 4 gb sd card with my kodak Ls743

No. As stated in the manual, the LS743 only works with SD and MMC cards. You'll have to stay with cards 2GB and smaller.

I have a Kodak EasyShare C633. I have inserted a new memory card & it keeps say "Memory card requires formatting". I pressed "continue" to start the format, but it keeps giving the same message. How do...

This camera requires either a sd or a mmc card, and must be put in with the front of the card (the card with the label on) to the front of the camera. If installed backwards or with the label facing the back, the camera internal parts can be damaged beyond repair.
Make sure you can read pictures on another sd or mmc card from another camera. If it can read, make sure you have the right kind of card. This camera came with a 16meg card, so make sure that it can read larger cards, most should, since this camera was made in about 2006. However some cameras may have problems with large cards such as over 2 GB. Just a thought, and try it.

4 GB doesnt work

I believe this camera only supports SD/MMC cards, not SDHC cards. Go to the kodak site to see the detailed specs. Not all devices support SDHC - most new ones do - but some only support the older SD cards.

My Kodak C633 is not seeing/recognizing the SD card.

The reason this problem occurred is that you likely never formatted the card. The card will work fine in the beginning for the first few shots, but eventually will corrupt. But don't format that card just yet as it will erase the card.

Take no more pics until you've recovered the photos, take the card out of the camera. Here's some freeware photo recovery software that should be what you're looking for:

http://camerarepair.blogspot.com/2007/12/recovering-those-accidentally-lost.html

You will need to use a flash card reader with this software. If you don't have one, get one, they're very inexpensive these days:

http://www.amazon.com/s/qid=1246813724/ref=sr_st?keywords=sd+card+reader&rs=172282&page=1&bbn=172282&rh=n%3A172282%2Cn%3A%21493964%2Ck%3Asd+card+reader&sort=price

AFTER you've recovered the photos, format the card in your camera to prevent this from happening again (dig out that instruction manual to figure out how). Keep in mind formatting will also totally erase your card, so again only do this after you've recovered the photos.
