Not working hey my sandisk mp3 player wont turn on at all and the computer doesnt recognize it is it frozen and what can i do to fix it?

    my mp3 player wont turn on and because whenever I try it lights up but thats all,I tried taking out the batteries I tried holding the menu botton but it wont work, please help me!

    I put it in my pocket and when I was walking to the bus stop it froze and it shut off and it won't turn back on and the computer won't read it. I tried pressin the menu button numerous times but nothing works. What can I do?

If your player is frozen. Press and hold the menu button until it turns off and try to update the firmware of the player. And also it may be that the songs on your player is causing the problem try to format the player. How to update the firmware of the player please follow this steps. 1.Slide the hold switch for it to show the orange/red color. 2.Press and hold the record button and the menu button until it shows on the player screen Welcome to recovery mode. 3.Download and install the firmware update. 4.When the firmware update has been installed hooked the player to the computer and perform the update. Hope this helps. :D

SANSA won't turn on.

replacing the battery may be a possible solution.... if that doesnt work,try sliding the hold switch to on position and then connecting.

You can try to reset the device by pressing the power button for about 15 to 20 seconds..if that doesnt work I would recommend you to go to the sandisk site to update the firmware on your device or you can contact sandisk to they can help you with updating the firmware on your device..Please follow the link below to get the firmware

Reset the player - see manual or the Sandisk website for details - usually holding power in for 15 seconds or more
You are going to have to charge it for 3-4 hours before trying any additional fixes, because you let the battery drain
