Hello, you just have formatted your pen drive without extracting data inside at first? Why do you have to format that USB pen drive without rescuing data out? Is it asking you to format and its file system become RAW weirdly? OK! No matter why you have to format that USB drive, the data stored inside after format often will not really be completely wiped.
Without fresh data to overwritten it all there, you do get chances to recover lost from this formatted pen drive with Pen drive RAW file system recovery software which often will deeply scan your assigned flash drive and take all possible recoverable stuffs back.
Therefore, do not give up and go search for related data recovery software to go on.
Hope you can make drive data backups well before any format.

Click Start -> Run. Then type miskmgmt.msc and press Enter.
See if the pen drive is listed along with your hard drives. If yes and it says anything other than "Healthy", then the computer recognis the drive but the partition(s) is not accessible or is corrupted.
Try plugging in to the back side USB port if you are trying this in the front panel USB.
If that also doesn't work, plug your drive in to another computer you might have access to.
If still no luck then ...
This is a known problem with Transcend pen drives I have seen before. You can get access to data if you get some disk recovery utilities like pen drive disk doctor etc.
Get the free version of this tool from
and save the files to some folder on the hard disk. Then format the pen drive and copy the data back.
