Have you installed Kicker capacitors? With the extra power you have you will need them to help with the load.

I have 2 MA AudioMA100XE 600 watt woofers and a 1500watt monoblock amp hooked up to them now. they dont hit as hard as my old 800 watt ma audio amp that blew. why is that?

mono block anps are usually rated at lower impedance.
if your subs are dual 4 ohm , i'd wire all v/cs in parallel for a 1ohm load... unless the amp is all chromed up, than that rating is probably a WLS rating(when lightning strikes)... if the box says anaba group it typically does half of what it advertises.. :-(

With the gain in the middle was runing vibe12" sub in bandpass box it blew the sub in 4 min of using could u please tell me what sub I can use to play loud it has to be 2 x 12" thanks.

There are many sub woofers out there that would be suitable for your amplifier. Just stick to the quality brands such as Elemental Designs, JL Audio, Alpine(type X), MA Audio, RE Audio and there are many more. Make sure the minimum power handling for each sub woofer is 600 WATT RMS. Another thing. The gain control on the amplifier is not a volume. It is there to match the output voltage (V) of your head unit to the input voltage of the amplifier. For example, if your head unit RCA output is (1.2V, 2V, 4V or even 5V) then match that on the amplifiers gain to be the same. The higher the V number is on your head unit, the stronger the signal is that is being sent to the amplifier. For example, If your have a 4V head unit and the gain control on your amplifier is set to 1.2V the you are sending almost 4 times the amount of signal strength to your amplifier. This causes distortion and distortion causes speakers and sub woofers to blow. I hope you understand the concept. IMPORTANT: This is a powerful amplifier, a 4 Gauge or 2 Gauge power cable MUST be used. Less than 4 Gauge, will cause over heating of both the cables and the amplifier. YOU DON'T WANT THAT. If you still have doubts and need more assistance, let me know.

I have a 1800 watt amp but the red light is on but it dose sound like the bass works but not it its prime

the red light is for power in protect mode it should be orange and it will not emmit sound if you think you should have better sounding bass or more bass you can try to play with the gains on the amp or possibly if you have the negative or positive hooked up wrong from a speaker to the amp this will cause the bass to be lower and somewhat distorted double check your positive and negative wires from the speaker to the amp and make sure they are correct

I have 2 dvc 4 ohm alpine type r 15's and 2 svc american bass

Hi mate very nice amp you got there here is the specs for it

Model: MA Audio HK401SX
Hard Kore Series 1800 Watt 1 Channel High Performance Class X Car Amplifier
1 x 1800W RMS @ 0.5 Ohm Mono
1 x 1200W RMS @ 1 Ohm Mono
1 x 650W RMS @ 2 Ohm Mono
1 x 500W RMS @ 4 Ohm Mono
Fully Unregulated MOSFET Power Supply
2 Ohm Stable @ Mono
1 Ohm Stable @ Mono
0.5 Ohm Stable @ Mono

if you have 2 12s just bridge them and you will have 650wrms at 2ohm running to them or one sub at 4 ohm 500w rms ps they should pump iam running 2 12s with just 360rms at 2ohm and they do the job good luck

Hay i just brought da sub on its own and dont no wat a good size amp and power needed to make dat bumpn bumpn feel...and how to connect it all up plezzzz.... fnx DJ KINGXL out

buy a bridged amp with half the power of your sub (ie 1200 watt sub use a 600 watt amp) this will stop distortion at high volume get in touch when you have the amp and i'll go through how to wire it .

Recommended Amp? Highest Watts you would run to it?

the amp is rated at 950Watts that is about 75amp.@12volts. check the battery and the alternator rating. you can't pull full power from the battery, that will prevent the car from starting.
add up all of the amp from all of the fuses in the fuse box, and subtract that from the battery rating , that is the max power the amp will get.
your have to turn up the gain because of the low power.
so, if you change a amp with better rating, you still have to turn up the gain.

Yes i have a 1000 watt amp and when i turn it on it stays on fine until the bass hits and then it kicks off then it kicks back on and the problem reaccures

I believe you have your gain on the amp turned up to high. Try turning the gain down, or if you have a LOUD button on your headunit turn it off
Hope this helps

Need to pick perfect amp

I suggest to use separate amps to your sub, get a 2 channel amp for your sub and 4 channel amps for your speakers.
