Need help with the system

posted by jacob2008 on Jun 11, 2007

So, I bought the system, And i put it all togeather, If i play CD's it works fine, But when I go to play DVD's I can hear the noise, but I cannot see them. So also, I cannot see the screen to tell how to turn my bass up or whatever. So if someone can tell me how, Id appreciate it. Also, Can i buy a new sub and hook up to it? this one doesnt have enough "Punch" to it

Did you connect your TV to the DVD player via video cable (S-video, composite, or component)? That might be why you cant see the screen and stuff. To connect to TV, just connect your VIDEO OUT on the dvd player to the VIDEO IN on your TV. About that sub...you can hook it up, but it will only have as much punch as the player will allow. In other words, dont expect much out of a 20" sub if you have a 100 watt system.

You talking about the video cable? You can buy that at Walmart or Radio Shack or any store like that.
