Question about Philips GoGear SA178 MP3 Player
MY GOGEAR MP3 PLAYER IS NOT WORKING ALWAYS DISPLAY CONNECT TO PC & FORMAT BUT THE PROBLEM IS MY PLAYER NOT FORMET. PLEASE SOLVE THIS PROBLEM.
Run a Repair in the Philips Device Manager - it is your only hope. If a message comes up saying, "Failed to Repair Device," then this player is done. This is a legacy mp3 player that is ruined by connecting it to a computer that is running either Windows Vista or Windows Media Player 11. It was tied to a MusicMatch Jukebox service that was cancelled in October 2007. Philips is no longer issuing firmware upgrades for this player, and a firmware upgrade will not resolve your issue. Sorry.
