I have a sony wega ldp hd tv(42") which will cut some of the picture off. I have tried using the wega gate to fix the screen, but no good. The logos are half hidden or chopped off. Please help.

I have the same problem, but only if I'm sending a 1080i signal. It also shifts the picture to the right so that the picture isn't centered on the screen.

I had the same problem. If you have a cox or cable one remote that works with your TV. You want to push the TV button on top and on the remote there should be 4 arrows pointing up down right and left. Push the button to the right or left and it should change the zoom feature to fit what you want.

No help what so ever! I've tried that numerous times. Auto formatting is the only option as there is not option for manually changing the ratio. Any other suggestions?

Go into the menu and select picture settings and then advanced picture settings. I'm not sure on that model that you can manually change the aspect ratio from zoom to 16:9 or 4:3 ect... But select Auto Format and the TV will pre-select the correct format for viewing.....
Any questions just let me know.

my rca truflat tv projects a larger picture than the screen, its really annoying i play my 360 and it cuts off alot of the screen so i cant read messages on the left and right of the tv screen, there are no options to adjust the ratio so all there really is to do is to buy a new t.v. if you are reading this i recomend you do not waste your money on a TruFlat RCA T.V. If somebody has a solution please let me know it would save me money and would make me very pleased.

That didn't help at all - there's no option to manually change the aspect ratio

picture dosen't fit the screen. Picture is larger than the screen. Aspect only adjusts upper and lower screen, not left to right. Tried unplugging everything, letting it set and hope it would default back to normal...however, didn't work. HELP! Thanks

My D52W26 rca is about a year old. Recently it will sometimes project a bigger picture than the size of the screen but whats more annoying is that it will for no apparent reason go to a 4:3 aspect ratio. This model doesn't even have that option for me to pick. The only option is the auto format(in advanced pic settings), which when i pick the picture just goes back to 4:3 and when i turn off auto format doesn't seem to matter. Does 3:2 pull down(off, on or advanced) have anything to do with it, Warranty issue? Please help!
