Question about AEG 24 in. Favorit 50730W Free-standing Dishwasher
I have an Electrolux ESL 6225 dishwasher & the machine sometimes makes an audible warning of 3 beeps which means the leak prevention system has been triggered. The machine is not leaking. How can I eliminate this problem or reset the system?

before you operate the dishwasher get your water as hot at the sink as you can this will prevent filling the dish washer with cold water and i would use powder or liquid now if you not sure of your heating element turn your washer to dry close the door for about 2-3 minutes get a glass of cold water open the door and pour water on the element if it sizzles its working

Just pulled machine right out, tipped it over on the side, couldn't see anything obvious or a way "in", so re-positioned it - switched on - error message gone and all working fine !!?!

Open the left metal panel, if the white plastic tank is black at the bottom or is not clean: remove it, open it, clean it (make sure the water flows through properly) and put it back in.

Hi Peter Gumbrell - Often when the dishwasher door does not lock, it is because the of door lock assembly. The door lock or latch may either be faulty or damaged. If I was in your position, I would personally recommend consulting a professional to accurately diagnose the dishwasher to determine the root cause to reduce the risk of unnecessary parts.
