Question about Computers & Internet
There are two possible reasons why you're experiencing this issue.
A. Software Problem
B. Hardware (keyboard)
To try fixing it. Do the following.
Try checking the software side first.
1. Restart your computer. Once it's booting, tap F8 until you see the options where you can choose Safe Mode.
2. Use the arrow key to highlight safe mode and let go there. The computer will now boot to the basic operating system. Try your keyboard from there. If it works great then do a system restore by going to Start or Pearl Button > accessories > system tools > system restore. Restore it to a date when the keyboard was still working fine.
B. Hardware Issue.
If the software side looks fine, this is the time that you try fixing the hardware side of it.
Try using an external USB keyboard and see if it works fine. if it does, then you need to reset the connection between the motherboard of the computer and your keyboard. You need to technically open your computer. There are some tutorials on how to do that by going to youtube or by visiting the computer's manufacturer's website.
