Hello GI GI - This particular issue can be caused by quite a few reasons. Washer could be experiencing a communication error from the main control board, faulty door lock assembly, faulty pump or the timer itself is not operating correctly. Did you notice a humming noise? If so, either the drainage hose/pump is clogged and needs to be cleaned or could possibly have another issue with the door lock assembly or pressure switch. You can also press and hold the start/pause and cancel button together at the same time for approximately 30 seconds to display an error code on the LED. What error code does it display? However, I would suggest contacting a professional to accurately diagnose the washer.

SOURCE: Washer won't stop spinning

i am a recently retired appliance engineer of 20 years, if the fault is not right after he has called then write to the manager of the company, if he is sole operator then write to him, explaining it like you said above, ask that the engineer stay and watch till the very end of the cycle as thats where the fault is, if he has already worked on the machine fetch them back? alternatively just ask a different engineer who knows what he is on about, to me this sounds like a circuit board problem either the timer or main pcb module, i presume this is a computer control washer with a digital display, hope this has helped you at least as to where to start, thank you.

SOURCE: washer spin cycle not working

As a blind guess, because I don't know this machine specifically, I would suggest it's more likely that the beep is a warning that the empty cycle has not managed to clear out all the water and so the spin cycle can't start. If this is the case, you probably have a filter on the drain pump somewhere (Either behind a door on the front at the bottom or under the machine, built into a bulge in a rubber hose near the empty pump). If there is a blockage here, or less likely, but still possible, if the empty pipe is blocked or obstructed, what you are describing is very likely. If it is the filter and you find it and clean it, you need to remember that these filters should be checked every month or so and cleaned.

Extend or reduce the checking periods depending on the debris you find in the filter and how much washing you do.

I have a front loader washer Kenmore Elite Model #796.40311900 that spins SLOW, not FAST as it should on spin. The digital readout works normally.

sounds like maybe drain filter is plugged and unit is not draining fast enough. if you have drain access in front pull it out and clean it.

Washer completes cycle 100% but then it restarts and starts filling all over again/ rewashes in essence

Dear William, I guess first you have to check if the start switch is shorted. When you turn on the machine, does it automatically go into cycle? If yes, then your start switch is faulty. Otherwise, you may have to replace your timer/sequencer.

Will not spin fast enough on final spin cycle to

ITS POSSABLE ITS NOT PUMPING FAST ENOUGH. CHECK THE DRAIN HOSE AND MAKE SURE IT HAS NO KINK. IF THATS OK IT MAY HAVE A BUILDUP OF SOAP. RUN A EMPTY CYCLE WITH NO SOAP. IF THAT DONT WORK YOU NEED A REPIARMAN TO CLEAN OR REPLACE THE PUMP.

Unit runs good through wash cycle then while in rinse and spin does not complete cycle. The machine starts doing a short spin, and then dial starts turning around without stopping.

Sounds as if the drain pump is not ejecting the water fast enough. Did you notice of the washer is draining more slowly than usual or at all?

Final spin cycle

Lots of possibilities to check out before considering a problem with the machine: Is the load unsorted, too big or off balance? Drain restricted or too high? Oversudsed? Water draining completely out before going into spin?
