When you get to ringer settings press select, then using the arrow keys scroll to ringer tone, choose one of the tones or melodies then select save and then select off to get out of the menu you should have chosen a new ring tone.
The ringtone for the CO or outside line buttons can be programmed by pressing program then press the
CO button twice, enter the ringtone you want by dialing 01 to 08, press enter or store then program to end. This will set the ringtone for that line assuming it is programmed to ring at that phone. Transferred calls will use the ringtone of the intercom button which can be set by the same procedure. Use the same procedure if calls ring to a Group Directory Number(GDN) on the phone. The 7600 series of digital phones have ringtone settings of 01 through 30.
The MINI is NOT the same as the normal I9 or 168+ in the way ringtones are setup.
From Second Main Menu page, select 'Profile' on the I9 MINI and then select 'General' then 'Customize' then 'Tone Setup' then SIM1 or SIM2 depending on which you are using/setting up. usually this is done one of two ways
if the phone has a menu button
press it once then use the arrow keys until you see "ring" or "ring tone" in the display
then use the arrow keys again and you should hear different ring tones.
when you find the one you like press the menu button to lock it in
if the phone has a program button and no menu button
keep pressing the program button until you see "ring tone" in the
display.then use the arrow keys until you hear the ring tone you like.
then press the program button several times until you exit the
you can follow the above steps to set the ringer volume also
This is the best I can do to answer part of your problem. I solved my problem by taking this advice from Uniden for their dual phone set:
Selecting Ringer Tone (handset only) Question: How do I set/change my ringer tone on the handset? Answer: There are two different way to change you ringer tone depending on which model you have. If you do not have an option in your menu on you handset for handset setup, then you will simply hit the volume ^ or v arrows on the handset rapidly scrolling through the 2 ringer tones and volume combinations.
