Can't hear and see

Hi, I wanted to use Skype as usual. My partner could hear and see me, but I can't. I don't hear the dial in as well as I don't see a video. My PC works normally, I can hear and see you tube vids etc.
The PC on the other side works normally as well, she talked before and after our call. I have the problem with earplugs and by the normal loudspeaker, as I used it always. The level shoes me when I'm talking and when my partner is talking, the signal comes in.

The sound card of my emachine E725 is not working

You may want to adjust the mic volume on the settings of your microphone as it would seem skype loves to auto adjust and turn it all the way up to where the mic no longer hears you. So just set it down as far as you can go and then do this each time that skype blasts the volume of your mic.

I have recently bought my new RY3001 headphone, the problem with this headphone is my partner cannot hear my voice. I do hear his perfectly well. What could be the problem?

Using Realtek drivers? Disable the onboard microphone in the BIOS, reboot, it should now be working. Test with Skype.

I DON'T KNOW HOW TO USE MY WEBCAM

Hi there,

Do you have the instructions for this device? I would usually use a program to control it such as Skype or MSN. Under windows 7 if you plug in a USB camera it finds the driver automatically and as I said just use a third party program such as Skype to use it.

Many thanks hope this helps

Im trying to use skype but nobody can hear me and i dont know what i need to do

Make a call to echo

Echo will ask for you to speak and then your words will be echoed back. If you don't hear your voice you need to make sure Skype is using the right microphone input. If you are using a desktop PC with a USB camera, you may want to make sure you have the input settings set to the camera as they default to the on-board sound card.

Likewise, if you have some sort of device that could have diverted the mic input away from the microphone you need to check that too.

So from Skype:
  • Go to Tools menu
  • Choose Options
  • Choose Audio Settings
  • Make sure the Microphone is on the right device

I am using skype i can see my partner but he cannot see me!! it keeps telling me that they cant detect a web cam even though my webcam is built into my computer.

Start up Skype and click Options under the Tools tab. Click on Video settings. Skype should then start the built-in webcam's video and you should see yourself in the window. Be sure that the radio button is on to Show that I have video to... people in my Contact list only. If instead, the radio button is on for no one, then no one will see that you have any video capability. If you have made any changes, be sure to click the Save button at the bottom right of the Skype options window. Finally, be sure that your partner is in your Skype's Contact List.

Hello,

Please check if the color of your connector is in exact place. If you want to used mic please insert it to color pink or red then if you want to hear sometimes using your headphone plug it the connector for audio in green. Usually if your head phone has mic then the connector has two different plug for mic and audio out.

thanks
