Solution:
I use the klennex with a few drops of water to dampen and clean off those contact on the holder and my printer work again.
The refill ink work very well if you let it sit 24 hrs. Then before you print anything, you should run aligned the catridges a couple times then run clean catridges a couple times.
Print the test page to see how it's look and way you go.
Be sure not to leave any debris of klennex on those holder contact panel. OR
This error can happen if you refill your own carts. Try taking the cart that causes the error out and placing it on a water-soaked paper towel. This will 'wick' the excess ink out of the cart. See if that works.

I'm using a Lexmark X4270 And I apparently downloaded a driver for a Lexmark X4200. As of now I can't print anything. Do I need to download a driver for the Lexmark X4270 for my printer to work?

Hi!
If you downloaded the driver for the x4200 series then that is alright. But to make sure redownload the driver and reinstall it. After that unplug the USB connector to your computer and then restart the computer. Wait until you have gone into windows and logged in before plugging back the usb connector. Wait for windows to acknowledge the connection by showing an installing device message or by a series of tones. Check on your printer devices if your printer is online. Try printing a test page. If you are still getting a problem make sure to jot down the error message you are getting and get back to us here at fixya.

I have a lexmark all in one 7100 series with an error code of 1203. What is this?

Hello.
In Lexmark 7100 series, an error code 1203 indicates that your print cartridge has a short.
Follow these steps:
  1. Press Power to turn your All-In-One off.
  2. Unplug your All-In-One from the wall outlet.
  3. Plug in your All-In-One.
  4. Reinstall the cartridges.
If this does not work, then your only option is to replace your cartridges.

Error 1203 and carrier jam error

Error 1203 on a Lexmark is an issue that occurs either when a cartridge is bad or the printer cartridge Slot is bad... I would suggest you to try cleaning the copper contacts of the both carts and cart slot in the printer and try again..

If that doesn't work just call up their support number and check for replacement..
