That tripod was not designed to have the head removed. if you do get the head apart, there is no way to attach another head without lots of re-milling and work. Go to and buy a Manfrotto tripod. these come without head and can easily be up fitted.

How do I change my oil pan gasket on my 95 ford Thunderbird, thank you first time car owner

Lift your car and place on jack stands. Then drain engine oil from pan. If there is/are any other steering or suspension components under oil pan, remove these first. Then, begin removing all bolts that hold pan in place. There should be a few bolts that come from the rear of the transmission section that also hold engine oil pan. Remove these. Once all bolts are removed, use a rubber mallet to tap oil pan until is breaks loose. If hard to remove, use a pry bar or flat head screw driver to pry oil pan off. Install in reverse order.

How to remove the oil pan

First lift your car so you could get under it. Make sure that you have some device under the car to protect you just in case that the jack fails and the car falls on you. Then remove the screw from the oil pan. Have an oil recipient to ready to collect the oil output.
After that, you may have from 4 to 6 screws to remove. You need to find out the size of the head of the screws and use a ratchet to remove it.

Where is the oil drain plug of a 2005 toyota sequoia ?

Look under the engine (not the transmission) for the drain plug on the engine oil pan.

The following is some information on how to change the oil pan:
  1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the precautions in the beginning of this section.
  2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  3. Drain the engine oil.
  4. Remove or disconnect the following:
    • Engine undercover
    • Front differential, if equipped with 4WD
    • Oil pan, separate it from the engine using SST 09032-00100 and a brass bar
    To install:
  5. Apply seal packing to the oil pan.
  6. Install the oil pan to the cylinder block. Tighten the nuts and bolts to: 67 inch lbs. (8 Nm) WARNING

    • Engine undercover
    • Negative battery cable
  8. Fill with engine oil.

The Pan Tilt Head cannot be removed from my Manfrotto CXPRO3

Extend the center column, there are 3 screws underneath that when unscrewed will allow the head to be tightened or loosened. The head is screwed on about 4 or 5 revolutions. You will need a flat head screwdriver. Take the center column out if you need to to be able to get to the screws.

What is the size of the allen wrench needed to fit the oil pan drain plug in a 1995 toyota celica

The oil pan drain plug should require a 14mm hex head wrench to remove. The transmission pan requires a 10mm allen head socket, or wrench to remove. Are you sure you're trying to remove the correct drain? The oil drain should be on the passenger side and on the rear corner of the pan.

How to remove pan head from velbon 530, it feels very tight

I have the Hakuba HG-503MX which came with basically the same pan head you have already attached to the center column. First remove the center column from the tripod, with the pan head attached. Tighten the knob that prevents the pan head unit from rotating 360 degrees on the center column and gripping the head with one a hand and the center column near the plastic plate firmly twisting the head counter clockwise. The pan head will unscrew from the plastic plate which sits on top of the center column, given enough force. My pan head was also very tightly screwed onto the shaft, since it came already attached to the tripod. Hope this is helpful.
