Make shure that you buy a wire harness. wire that to you radio matching up the colors. Also may need a dash kit to fit in radio. Plug in the wire harness you bought and slide in dash. Hope this helps you out. good ratings help me..Have a good day

Stereo wiring on mk4 golf r32? Fitted new stereo bit radio isn't working I Need to know what colour wire to connect to the power supply for the amplified ariel?

12 volt accessory or same wire that goes to red wire on stereo or cigarette lighter.
OR
What is the current draw on amplified aerial ? or are you talking bout electric aerial(up and down automatically ?) If current draw is really low like 500 milliamp or so then hook her up to blue wire (remote output) on back of stereo but REMEMBER this is LOW current and only meant to switch on amps and raise electric aerials etc.If you think amp on aerial is too much for it then run the rem wire to a 12 volt relay and wire it so that when rem triggers and closes the gate will be connecting an accessory wire OR perm 12v wire to aerial power . That way aerial ONLY turns on(POWERS UP) when stereo is on as opposed to other way where aerial will be powered up every time car ign or acc is turned on regardless of whether the stereo is on or not.

Trying to put a new stereo in my holden astra 1989 but the colours on my deck do not match the original colours on car stereo

you should try trial and error, for example test the wires on your car with a power tester and find your power when you do hook it up tp the power wire on your car. after you get the stereo turned on you test your speaker wires with the right & left functions on your stereo and the front and back functions on it untill you figure out wich go,s to wich.

2002 malibu wiring diagram?!?!?!?!?!?!

ok, the red and yellow wires serve 2 different purposes.the yellow supplies constant power to your stereo, and the red is switched power. what youve done is combine the two, and connect them to a constant power source. like this, your stereo wont be switched with your ignition. so take off the red wire, but leave the yellow wire connected to the wire its already on. make sure your stereo fuse is good in the fusebox of the car. then, use a test light, with the ignition switch on, to find the second wire on your cars harness that has power. that will be your switched power. connect that one to your red wire, and that will solve your problem.

JUST NEED TO KNOW WHAT PIN RECIEVES THE B +

Ken,

Most common for all car Stereo wire color coding are:

Solid RED wire = +12V
Solid Black wire = negative ( - )
Solid Yellow wire = +12V (power ON /OFF) can add additional toggle switch for switching on and off the car stereo

Solid blue wire = Power antenna

the rest of the wires are for car speaker having positive and negative polarity.
note: for the speaker connection wires, all the solid colored wires are positive side (+) of speaker. those solid colored wire with stripe black line are for negative side (-) of the speaker

cheers,
mark

What type of stereo do you have? You can try and google that stereo name and put the words "wire connector, or adapter" after it and see what you come up with.. OR.. you may be able to go to wal-mart and check their department for adapters that may fit your stereo.
