Hi our DA99-01220A Samsung Fridge Freezer builds ice up at base of freezer. Door seal is fine.its not over filled. Any suggestions? Guide doesn't give helps from Samsung

The drain line for the auto defrosting mechanism is clogged. The melted ice water collects on bottom of freezer and then refreezes over. Clear the line.

Ice melts then refreezes

It's staying in defrost to long. Could be a bad deforest timer or a bad defrost thermostat.

Refrigerator does not get cold. The freezer works fine, but the fridge only gets slightly cool.

normaly the fridge has its own thermostat to keep the tem right, if this thermostat has stoped working it will do one of two things,,, freez every thing up as it wont turn off the compressor or will just stop working as it wont turn on the compressor,,, try turning up the thermostat first,

Kenmore Refridgerator leaking water into refridgerator compartment from freezer compartment

You most likely have a clogged drain. When you freezers goes into defrost every 8 to 10 hours. The frost that is melted during the defrost drains from the freezer either down through the fridge or out the back and down. Either way it drains into a pan under the fridge. This tube is either clogged or the drain it's self inside the freezer is. Most of the time I find peas stopping the water from draining from the freezer. When the water can't drain it leaks through the bottom of the freezer into the fresh food section of the fridge. You will need to fix this because it will cause other problems. The water that cant drain from the freezer refreezes and will end up destroying the foam in the bottom of the freezer. Water will also leak onto the controls located in the part between the freezer and fresh food section ruining you controls.

I have a Conia fridge/freezer. The freezer is working fine but the fridge part is not getting cold at all.

In some cases like you have, you need to unplug the unit and let it thaw out. Store you freezer food in an ice chest or else where to keep it frozen.
If the unit has self defrost, the defrost cycle refreezes and blocks the circulation of the refrig area. Make sure all frost and water are removed before plugging the unit back in.
