In order for the sound chip to work, you need to install the correct drive. You can find that driver on the Intel site HERE. Make sure you pick the right chipset.

You can find the audio driver for your onboard sound HERE.
Sometimes Intel boards are a bit "stubborn" in accepting sound drivers sometimes, so you might have to manually install the driver by way of the device manager. Hopefully the latter will not happen. if it does, feel free to contact me here on "FixYa" and I'll do my best to guide you through it.

Intel has the drivers you need.
Please confirm which version of windows you are using by:
Press and hold the "Windows Logo" key + Press "Pause"
Once you have this version information, make your selection here, and continue on to get your drivers.
