Question about Televison & Video
This suggests a power supply problem in the set but first remove set and or a box if used for several minutes and then power back up, this will allow a possible reboot to happen.
If no luck that way and you are able examine the power board in the set(power cord goes right to it) for any signs of damage or puffed up filter caps (common).
