SOURCE: modify frequency on a T4A shure reciever

The T-4 has fixed frequencies, the only way that maybe could work is to send it to your distribution centre.

SOURCE: modify frequency on a T4A shure reciever

It is not an easy task. First, the crystal needs to be replaced, and possible 6-8 other components that surround the crystal. Then, the rest of the circuitry needs to be retuned for it to operate correctly.

There is a place in Chicago called Delta Audio (773-764-3634) that has the equipment to do this.

Is it possible to sink a ULX2 beta58a with a PGX4 receiver these ar bth from SHURE

You can tune the ULX system to any frequency you want. But the PGX system is limited to certain groups and channels. It is possible but quite inflexible. You will also run into problems with the different compander and pilot tones within the differing units. With your PGX system you should have got a chart of frequencies which correlate to the frequencies. Match this up with a frequency on the ULX handheld and this should work ok. The "sync" feature will not work you will have to do this manually.

Shure pgx2 is not syncing to transmitter

Make certain the transmitter and receiver are on the same frequency band. There are stickers on both that say what frequency range they can tune to.

I got a new mic and I cant get it to sync to my reciver it is a PGX4 and the mic is a PGX2

The mic is probably in a different frequency band than the receiver. Look at the stickers on the receiver and the mic to make certain they operate in the same frequency range.

I have 2 PGX-4 sm58 systems and 1 PGX-14 guitar system, problem is sometimes the mics make a load honking noise? I have returned the mics once and got new ones, same thing still happens. Not all the time...

If its feedback that is the problem, Try moving the speaker stacks forward. You shouldn't be ahead of an imaginary line drawn from one stack to the other. Another thing to do is; if you have a graphic EQ with peak lights on each slider, try dialing that frequency down a bit to remove the feedback. If you are relying on the sound from your mains to here yourself, you should invest in at least one monitor cab for the people using the mikes. Hope this helps.

Wireless Microphone low volume

The PGX1 bodypack has a switch on the side to set the gain. Make certain that switch is in the "mic" position. Otherwise, simply turn up the volume on your mixer.
