the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).

You are on the right way. Press MENU then the blue START MONO Button which normally starts copies in black and white modus. After that press the round button (which can be normally pushed to four sides l/r up/down) UP four times. Now you should be in maintenance modus. Follow the procedure as mentioned before. If there are more questions post it here.

Hold the feed button while turning on the printer. After a config label
prints, turn the printer off and then on again, and try printing again.
Also, make sure the lid is closed far enough to engage the lid sensor. If the red light comes on again, press down a bit on the lid, hit the feed button and try to print again.

try to check your cartridges. Pull it out one at a time then try to see it it stop blinking. Especially cartridges that was refilled. Improper refilling of cartridges causes them to stop responding to your printer and causes to malfunction. this was base from my experience.

Sorry, no power switch! To remove power you need to remove the power cord. I know...dumb, huh?
If you have not been to this page it gives info on the Front Panel button and the Status lights.
You will also note on this page that when doing a cold reset you must unplug the power cord and reconnect.
Thanks for using Fixya.
