Question about RCA Televison & Video
I have an RCA R56WH78. It has recently started having yellow, magenta, cyan dots about the size of a dime show up on the screen. The dots are in line and move slowly for a while before settling near mid screen. I have auto converged and it converges successfully, but the dots come back. Also, we have stink bugs running wild here, one has found itself inside and shows up on the screen. Any suggestions?
I am not laughing but I would suggest if possible from the rear with a light first to see if any of the bugs are on the mirror at the rear of the set inside or the lens This set should have inside---look for that first---anything on the mirror or between it and the screen will be magnified and projected into the picture----it is possible to take a good photo and post it here as well.
I have seen this once before---had lots of little moving specs on screen of a Sony---they had several hundred knats inside flying around that were attracted to the light and warmth there.
Solution in that case actually involved use of Moth balls for a while in the area.
