Where are you expecting sound to come from? Do you have external speakers? Are they plugged into the right jack on the back? Do they also plug into the wall with a a/c adaptor? Are they part of your display? HP and Compaq Desktop PCs Connecting Speakers or Headphones Windows Vista

Display adaptor not found

b> Your display adapter is the component of your computer that allows your monitor to work. On the operating system side of things, this display adapter is controlled by a device driver. If you're having issues with your display adapter (like colors are displaying incorrectly or the screen is flickering), you can fix these problems by rolling back your device driver using the Windows Device Manager.

Open your Control Panel by clicking "Start" and then "Control Panel." Click "System." Click "Device Manager." Scroll down to the "Display Adapter" heading. On a single monitor setup, there will only be one device listed under "Display" adapter. Right-click it and click "Properties." Click the "Driver" tab. Click the "Roll Back Driver" button. This will uninstall your current display adapter driver and reinstall the last version that worked properly. This will fix the issues you were having with the device. Hope this helps

Hi! I have an Acer Veriton 7600G.The sound card is SIS 7018.Culd someone find me a driver.I have searched but nothing works.I have tried everything. Please Help me !

Since you didn't mention the Operating System installed on the System, I can't make it myself specific. Anyway here are some links where you can download the drivers for Sis 7018.
1. Sis 7018 (rapidshare link) (ipen the link, click "free user", wait for few seconds and then click "Download" button). This is a zip file so you'll need winrar or winzip application to extract the contents. (click here to download winrar)
2. Sis 7018 (Cnet download) open the link and click "download now" button/link.

If the sound card is onboard, use this: 3. Onboard sound driver for Acer Veriton 7600g if in case it's not working use this... ftp://ftp.work.acer-euro.com/desktop/veriton3600g/drivers/audio/audio.zip

If you face any problem doing this, let me know.

Good luck.

Thanks for using FixaYa.

Hi,
You need drivers for your system.
All the official acer drivers for your system are here :-

http://support.acer-euro.com/drivers/desktop/power_s260.html#driver

As listed at the site:-

Realtek Audio Driver is your Multimedia Audio Controller.
NVIDIA VGA Driver should be your Video Controller, if that don't work try SIS VGA Driver.

SiS 661 chipset driver should fix your usb problem, if it dosn't update windows to SP2.
Get that from here: http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/. Then try again with SiS 661 Chipset Driver.

You should also install the rest of the drivers for your aspire sa80.

You said you had no access to internet so burn the drivers using a friends computer (one with internet) and install from the disc and you should be fine.

Whenever I click on system icon and click off my screen goes dark and comes back on. The system icon has a question mark on it.

Go to device manager and uninstall and reinstall the display adaptor. restart the computer. Reinstall the driver from the driver CD if you have or download the same from the internet by going to manaufaturers website. Make sure to select the correct model no. of your computer and the Operating syste. If its a generic computer please provide the display adaptor model no. and download the driver. One good website is www.driverguide.com

My Hp PAvilion DV9000 LAptops screen keeps going blank. If I hook it up to and external monitor then it works.

YOUR INTERAL DISPLAY ADAPTOR MAY BE GOING BAD, HAVE U TRIED REINSTALLING THE DRIVER , IF SO ITS UR ADAPTOR OR THE SCREEN ITSELF WHICH IS NOT A BIG PROBLEM REPLACING. THE EASIEST THING TO DO IS ASSUME ITS THE MONITOR. DOES IT DO THIS IMMEDIATELY OR DOES IT TAKE A WHILE. WHEN U HOOK UP THE OTHER MONITOR DO BOTH SCREENS WORK.
