Iskin cerulean rx not working with my home theater
I recently got the iSkin Cerulean RX for streaming music from my IPod to my Yamaha home theater that includes a docking station for IPod.
The problem is that although pairing the Cerulean with Ipod is very easy, once they are already paired, the Creulean does not play the music I select form the Ipod.
I realized that this malfunction only happens with 2 of my devices (the home theater and a digital clock). However, if I use the Creulean with older devices, it works perfectly well.
Can anybody explain me why it works in sime cases an why it doesn't with other devices?
Thanks and regards

Feb 13, 2015 - no sound on yamaha rx-530 stereo fm receiver nothing, just no soundcomming out of speakers ... Does your TV have any audio outputs such as RCA perhaps? .... Suddenly no sound is coming from my speakers except for my subwoofer. On certain settings some of the speakers work but not all of them.
There is a Microprocessor(computer) that controls the display. This Micro can be bad, the display can be bad, the connections between the two, as well. For more information, please visit my website at audioserviceclinic.com. Thank you.
Check the settings on receiver in the SETUP menu / HDMI / Audio. Here you can choose Amp (sound goes from the speakers connected to receiver), TV (receiver is muted and sound is routed via HDMI to TV) and Amp+TV (sound goes from speakers and also to TV). Also check in OPTION menu / Signal Info that receiver is receiving sound in recognized format.
You can connect PS3 video via HDMI to receiver and from receiver via HDMI to TV. But RX-V365 doesn't support HDMI audio, so you have to connect audio separately via SPDIF digital cable. I think PS3 uses optical SPDIF, so you will need optical cable. If you can't find cheaps optical cables in your shop, you can try byuing from ebay ($1-5 max.)
I think it is not possible, because RX-V465 does not have HDMI-video processing. It can only pass-thru the HDMI video to HDMI-out, but not alter the signal in any way. If it should support TV output with YDS-11, it will work only via analog video out (s-video / composite / component).
Apple sent the iPod nano back to me in factory reset condition (this is expected). And, in fact, the nano worked fine for a while after being returned to me in that state. Is it the case that nanos need to be factory reset every few months? I factory reset my unit using the March 23 update this evening after the problem started up again. And, the unit seems fine again after doing that and reloading my song/podcast library.
Is the tight iSkin case with hard plastic covering for the thumb wheel somehow causing the wheel to press the Select-Play combination that causes a normal reset? I should call/email iSkin and ask about this. But, how about anyone else out there with other similar case designs that includes a hard plastic cover over the circular control?
Of course, it could be that I just have a one-of-a-kind slightly flaky unit that passes Apple?s diagnostics because of some oddball unique problem.
If you have a similar issue, chime in (especially if you can explain it :-).
