In the paper path above tray 2, there are 2 pinch rollers that sometimes pop out of place. This can be checked by removed tray 2 and looking underneath where the paper travels. You will see 2 white rollers. They should both be flat against the rubber rollers that they come in contact with. If this is your problem one or both will appear to be crooked or out of position.

You have either a rubber roller that has gone completely bad or more likely there is something still stuck in the printer - probably a piece of paper wrapped around part of the feed roller. Open it up and examine carefully with a flashlight. If you can't find any foreign objects then wipe down all the rubber rollers with denatured alcohol.

You need the pick up rollers replaced. Call your service centre to replace pick rollers as these are feeding the pages crocked

SOURCE: How to replace 85a print
stand in front of the printer. the printed paper "plate" or "holder" should be expanded. look on left, there is a place to pick up the lid. just pull up with finger.. when you open the top cover you will see the cartridge. grab it through the middle for the handle like plastic and pull gently out. its secured but inside but not very strong. unpack the new cartridge and remove all the orange bands and plastic rings (there is one to protect the chip and one like ring, that will help you to pull out long nailon-like band). gently shake the new cart left-right. then put it in to the printer, it should click securely. close the cover and thats it :)
