Your handset can become fully locked due to exceeding the number of attempts
to enter the correct unlock code. The type of handset you have will determine
what process to follow to see if the handset can be unlocked.If your handset appears with a Code Error
or does not unlock with the first or second attempt, you will need to call
Customer Service to confirm the code. Once the handset is fully locked it will
require manually unlocking from Optus and your handset will need to be sent
Can be unlocked with SIM removed from handset however there is a 5 second time limit

Type: #pw+15 digit code+1 (where '15 digit code' is the unlock code)
Press Hash (#) - SIM Restriction OFF
will display on screen for one second
- If the unlock code is incorrect the phone will display the message 'Code Error'
- If the user tries to unlock a phone which does not have SIM Lock activated the phone will display the message 'SIM was not restricted'
- If the syntax (#pw+) is incorrect when entering the unlock code - nothing will happen.
