check tranny fluid level, if not possible faulty transmission control module if not codes related to tranny or issues with shift solenoids

Alternater went bad everything ease died as well transmission went out as well, so I rebuilt trannie but it wont work

Youre alternater probably put out too much votlage, the tranny is probably not the problem its probly the wires running to and from it, and they are probably fried, or one of the computers is fried

Will not shift out of 2nd gear

Tranny most likely shot. I believe yours is a T-5, I had the same issue years back but in 3rd gear. Usually the clutch going out is a gradual thing. So I would have a tranny shop look at it. Maybe find a cheap rebuilt tranny for ya.Look online or a trusted shop.

My 94 accord auto 2.2L starts out in 2nd gear and only shift to 3rd wont go start off in 1st and wont shift into 4th. What is going on?

You likely have a problem with the transmission computer, they were a very common problem. Don't have any work done on the transmission until you have tried a new TCM (transmission control module), it is located under the passenger side front footwell. Pull back the carpet and you will find it. They are available, rebuilt fairly cheaply on ebay or possibly your local parts store. Do not buy a used one as they are all bad by now. Google: "accord tcm" for way more info than will fit here.

My grandson has a 1997 honda accord, 4cyl, replaced auto tranny, now will operate only in first gear when placed in D4. reverse works ok. will not shift out of 1st gear. can u help. thanks

check the instillation of the transmission shift cable, it needs to be adjusted so that the pawl on the trans case has a full range of motion-put the shifter in neutral, and manually put the pawl in the neutral position (disconnect the cable0-then connect the cable again and bolt it into position.

Transmission shifts slugish

Hey buddy i have a 94 accord and i replaced the transmission and had the exact same problem. But it took me burning up the new tranny that was stuck in fourth gear on a hill to find out that the shift solenoids on the front of the tranny were bad. They are very expensive, so your best bet is to get them from a junkyard. Also i was told that my transmission control module could be bad, its located under the passenger side dash board, under the carpet. But luckily my problem was the solenoids, but i still had to put a second tranny in.
